Posted 25 October – So I’m following AndrejaKo’s advice here. Again, Windows just did not see the hardware. It is only a question of time before using SATA-based drives would be the rule rather than the exception, right!?! Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site.

Does anybody have a working dvd-rom driver for sata for DOS? Intel may be able remove the CSM from the motherboards it makes, but can’t force other vendors to do so.
